Tyvek

Nonwoven material developed by DuPont, made of 100% high density polyethylene (HDPE)

Tyvek combines the characteristics of paper, film and fabric in one material, so it can be used in many different areas that require strength, moisture resistance, light weight, resistance to mechanical and chemical influences. Besides Tyvek does not emit fiber cloth, opaque and has a smooth surface.

This material is ideal for transporting fragile and painted parts. Inserts into containers made of Tyvek reliably protect transported goods.

The main characteristics of the material:
* Strength (resistant to tearing when wet and dry);
* Water resistant (retains its characteristics in wet and dry condition);
* Chemical resistance (as the material is made of 100% HDPE, it is resistant to most acids, bases and salts);
* Dimensional stability (relative humidity from 0 to 100% is stable sizes);
* Light weight (weight is half the weight of other materials of similar strength);
* High resistance to repeated bending (can be folded and bent without reducing the strength);
* Temperature range (retains its strength and flexibility at -75 ° C. Start shrink at 118 ° C and melts at 135 ° C. When processing under tension temperature should not exceed 80 ° C)
